Judith Smith Smith is the Artistic Director and a Founding Member of AXIS Dance Company, one of the world’s most acclaimed and innovative ensembles of performers with and without disabilities. AXIS tours internationally and works with world class choreographers and composers. In her spare time Judith helps rescue, retire and rehome thouroughbred racehorses.  She also co-owns a team of Percheron draft horses that she does carriage driving with. Judith became quadriplegic from an automobile accident in the 1980s.
