About Chapter Two — What's In Your Head Now?
Everyone has some set of beliefs, feelings, and past experiences related to disability. Given that the premise of the Real People course is that we all need to take a fresh look at this large portion of our human family (even those of us who consider ourselves as having a disability), it's a very useful exercise to check in with your current take. This is a completely non-judgmental exercise — there is no right or wrong with what is just your current notion of disability. It just is — but you'll probably find it changing during your experience of this course. You'll also learn about categories of disability is — as well as common reactions which you might have come up during this insightful exercise.
